Upload music today! All House music genres accepted!
Every month housecharts.net brings you charts of all genres of House music from around the world. These charts are compiled using your votes. They are not influenced by the major record labels to increase manufactured bands sales.
You, the general public create these charts, which makes these charts independent. Leveling the playing field and creating an opportunity for all upcoming producers, artists and smaller record labels to upload music and compete with and be heard alongside the bigger names. This gives all an equal chance for quality music to be charted and recognized by an international Dance Chart, as public vote (and quality control) dictates which tracks enter our charts.
The goal of HouseCharts.Net is to give House music lovers regular charts of fresh, real, new House music that fans really want to hear! For aspiring talent, this website enables you to upload music, to be heard by the masses, and can act as a springboard to being picked up by a major label. Our House Charts feature the latest and best House music each and every month in the genres of Tech House, Funky House, Electro House, Progressive House, Deep House and Tribal House.
If you’re an artist or label, upload your music the housecharts.net website via the “Upload a Track” form to submit your track for public voting. Then the website’s visitors can rate your track from 1 to 10 and if you obtain an average score of 7 or over after at least 5 votes, your music will then be published in our 7+ Club section, where from there, our expert panel of industry professionals then analyze in detail every 7+ Club track to conduct quality control. Each month the top 5 of every House music genre is selected and HouseCharts.Net then promotes these House Charts to the world of House music fans!
Swedish House Mafia is a trio of House DJ’s and producers. The group officially formed in late 2008 and is made up of Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso.
From humble beginings Swedish House Mafia are now considered a ‘supergroup’. Their current tour,”One Last Tour” is actually the last time they will be touring together, so it might be a good time to save some pennies and try and catch them at one of their final dates.
Due to extremely high demand, additional shows have been added and the group is also set to make a final appearance at the Ultra Music Festival with an opening and closing set on March 15 and March 24, 2013, respectively.
Swedish House Mafia were placed at number 10 on the 2011 DJ Magazine Top 100 DJ Poll and they have been called “the faces of mainstream progressive house music. They have twice been nominated for Grammy awards for ‘Best Dance Recording’, in 2012 for “Save The World” and 2013 for “Don’t You Worry Child” (featuring John Martin).
They have also released a documentary called “Take One”. The movie was filmed over the course of 2 years, 253 gigs and 15 countries by director Christian Larson and Henrik Hanson. The documentary starts with Swedish House Mafia in the studio with Laidback Luke working on “Leave the World Behind” and concludes at Ultra Music Festival in 2010 premiering their hit “One” .

This is the full length dvd (extended edition). Documenting the story of the Exodus Collective, Exodus Raves and the HAZ Manor (Housing Action Zone).
The Exodus Collective were based in Luton, Bedforshire. Through out the 1990s Exodus held free parties / illegal Raves that were without doubt, the biggest & best underground Raves of the era. Legend has it that they also bred the world famous ‘Cheese’ strain of skunk weed.
During the 90s despite all the good they did for the local community, like providing the young and homeless with shelter and a safe positive enviroment at the Long Meadow Community Farm and the actual Exodus raves, they received alot of harassment from the Bedfordshire Police Force. Bedfordshire Police even resorted to falsifying evidence to obtain a conviction(who would believe our fine UK police officers would stoop so low??)
Hopefully life is being good to them, respect to them all.
deejaysounds.es is a decent House Music radio station/website from Catalunya, Spain.
deejaysounds.es play a good assortment of upfront House Music, Tech House, Techno, Deep House, Trance, Progressive House, Pachanguero, Latin House, Euro House…
The mix of styles is enough to keep most people happy.
The station is also a good indicator of what you will hear in the bars/clubs when on holiday in Spain this summer…

‘Larry Levan’s last night at the Paradise Garage’ : This is one of my favourite mixes by a true legend. Thanks to soundcloud, I can publish it without getting done! It is a good example of what gave birth to the Dance culture we now live by in the UK.
Larry’s legacy is more than just a legendary nightclub and a fistful of club classics. Larry Levan was the ultimate DJ: he didn’t just excel at his job, he reinvented the concept of the DJ, blurring the boundaries of music, race, sex, sexuality, and changing thousands of people’s perception of music, sound and the world around them.
For those reasons alone he is still revered and talked about to this day. Had he not died on the 8th November 1992, Larry Levan would be still be rocking dance floors and producing the ruffest grooves. RIP
